What Punctuation Mark Are You

Well, I’m a :

You Are a Question Mark

You seek knowledge and insight in every form possible. You love learning.

And while you know a lot, you don’t act like a know it all. You’re open to learning you’re wrong.

You ask a lot of questions, collect a lot of data, and always dig deep to find out more.

You’re naturally curious and inquisitive. You jump to ask a question when the opportunity arises.

Your friends see you as interesting, insightful, and thought provoking.

(But they’re not always up for the intense inquisitions that you love!)

You excel in: Higher education

You get along best with: The Comma

What Punctuation Mark Are You?

I actually think that’s a pretty accurate description of me except it left out the part that said I’m drop dead gorgeous. LOL

This quiz was over at Child’s Play’s blog and good grief, I could sit and do these things ALL day!

A note about the Science Fair, Iain has decided to become a human battery. We bought all the materials yesterday and he’s really excited! Ryan is going to make a Juice Rocket. He loves Mythbusters now and this is the closest thing we could come up with to satisfy his urge to be like them.

It’s been a looooong weekend. Sean had to work a TON and now he’s working on school stuff. It doesn’t feel like much of a weekend when he’s not around. We miss him when he’s not here! Hopefully next weekend will be better. Iain has his first baseball game next Saturday and we’re all looking forward to that.

Hope you had a wonderful weekend!

Oh man! Is That Really the Sun?? »

    🙂 I’m a question mark too! 🙂

I need to talk to my kids about the science fair, it sounds awesome. I’m just a procrastinator. I will admire all the projects if nothing else. 🙂

    Twinsies!!!!

It’s not too late for the fair though. There are tons of things to do that don’t take any time at all.

    Please think about it!

I guess this is why we get along so well.

    You Are a Comma

You are open minded and extremely optimistic.
You enjoy almost all facets of life. You can find the good in almost anything.

You keep yourself busy with tons of friends, activities, and interests.
You find it hard to turn down an opportunity, even if you are pressed for time.

Your friends find you fascinating, charming, and easy to talk to.
(But with so many competing interests, you friends do feel like you hardly have time for them.)

    You excel in: Inspiring people

You get along best with: The Question Mark

I don’t really know if that description sounds like me though. LOL

Ugh, I need to get started on that project. After his day is over. It’s my son’s birthday today… there is some baking and cleaning happening here today. The cleaning project could turn into a science project though… those corners in the kitchen… ICK!!!

Freckles, I so know what you mean. Sometimes it seems my whole house is a science project!

    Deb,
I will take all the company I can get on the Rosco Peco Train issue. I was crushed when I found out the truth. Crushed and embarrassed. Thank you for keeping me company!

Thanks for visiting my blog! I’ll link to your blog, if you like. I still can’t get over the Pico incident…he’s lost some of his character now, in my eyes. lol I am not terribly surprised I was fooled. It happens a lot. And it is a favorite topic of conversation among friends and family. I have begun to think my purpose on this earth is to give amusement to others and to teach my husband patience. hee hee.

I LOVE Science! We haven’t done a Science Fair project, yet. I mean, not that we presented. When my oldest dd was 7 we bought an insane amount of chicks (16–and we live in a CITY–but we have a permit). We had several different breeds, so she would collect the eggs and journal about what they looked like (color, specks, size, etc.) and weighed them and charted which chickens laid what eggs. Pretty cool.

We homeschool, too. I am still getting my blogging legs on. I hope to post more frequently when I get back home.

Thanks again and let me know if you want me to link to your blog.

Oh yeah! Fun quizzes! I am an EXCLAMATION MARK!!!! Yippee!!!! I wonder if it changes, depending upon which day I take it. On my Eeyore days, am I an elipse? I love elipses…at least, I am in VERY very deeeeep like…with elipses, I mean.

Whew! Hold on a minute while I turn off the faucet to my stream of consciousness. 🙂

*I’m not sure that these quizzes are totally accurate. Are they FDA and AMA and LMNOP approved?

All the best with science fair! I’m afraid that I’m burnt out on those after my kids had a few years’ worth at school – it has been one of the perks of homeschooling NOT to do science fair!!

Will have to pop over to check my punctuation – personality.

    Cheers,
    Cate

Jenn, you are cracking me up! You’re so mellow I never would have guessed that you’re an exclamation point! 😉

Thanks for coming by my blog and you’re welcome to put a link on your blog if you like. I’d be happy to return the favor!

    Cate,
We’re lucky that we didn’t have all those years of school to burn us out. Iain was inspired by the movie Meet the Robinsons and wanted to invite everyone in internet land to join in. I hope you’ll come back and check out all the projects that the kids are working on though!

He was misdiagnosed by the first vet we used here and that led to a situation where the treatment almost seemed worse than the disease. Thankfully, @lawndale_vet helped us navigate that situation and they have nursed this big boy back to a much happier place. We still are uncertain about how much time we have left with him but, for now, he is the happiest we have seen him in a long time. I am so thankful to the staff at Lawndale for, not only providing great medical care, but for loving on him and making him feel like the best boy ever at each appointment. ❤️❤️❤️

We got the first one healed and then he got one on his other paw. Then that one got better but his paw pads got rubbed raw by the protective boot he was in and now are infected. Fingers crossed that this cone helps keep him from licking it so he can heal. Until then, Bowie is going to be a very sad boy, indeed. 😢
