In spite of the fact that it was hot as all get out today, we ventured out to the Farmers Market. You may or may not have read a post I wrote from June regarding a disappointing trip there well, today more than made up for it. Stand after stand of beautiful vegetables and plants. I had my camera with me and took some pictures:
Plus there was a car show going on at the same time so we got to enjoy that as well.
Let me tell ya, we were all melting before too long.
All in all, it was a great day. The kids were able to see that food doesn’t just come from the grocery store. There are actually people who live around here and grow beautiful food for us to eat and they don’t use chemicals to do it.

Oh my Goodness!
These are gorgeous!
whoof.
My favorite is the vegetables. ANd then the other one of the vegetables.
ANd then the indoor market. And the close-up of the grandma-blue car. And the close-up of the grandma-green with all that lovely chrome.
Beautiful!
And I’m glad you had a lovely experience at your market!
I still haven’t been yet this year. (working on saturdays.)
Beautiful!

I’m so glad you like them! Taking pictures is so much fun. Frankly, I’ve never done it trying to be artistic about it but since Sean bought us a new camera, I’ve been having a ball with it. You know what I’m talking about, with your new friend as well!
You know, the blue car was called a Metropolitan and it was soooo cute. I would totally drive one today.
Now, I’m feeling bad because I didn’t know you worked on Saturdays. What do you do? Have you talked about it before?

We just got back from your neck of the woods…I thought I was going to die of heat stroke! The heat is bearable–but the heat + humidity is quite difficult!!! Thank goodness for air conditioning!
