Yesterday we enjoyed a steaming hot day at the park with a local homeschooling boy and his mom. Here are some of the sights that greeted us there:
Babies! Sweet babies!
“Cheeseburger Happy Meal, please!”
I don’t even know what to say about this one. He looks so sweet and yet devilish at the same time!
The weather here has been unbearable. Today, it’s going up to 93 and the heat index will make it feel even hotter than that. Yuck. We have to go to our vacation home (Target) to pick up a few things and then we’re not going out of this house again today.
I have to have a marathon cleaning session today because an appraiser is coming to look at our house tomorrow. We’re trying to get a home equity loan and, I feel like if my bathrooms don’t reek of pee, maybe we’ll be able to squeeze a few more dollars out of it. I would take pictures of the before but, frankly, it’s too embarassing. Stephanie would be shocked.

Ha! Hardly, Dear Friend.
Though I haven’t confessed it before now (and shame on you for dragging it out of me) my dear family has had diar – er, problems for several days, now.
While my bathroom (yes, they use the one that I claim as MINE) is now quite clean and sparkly, it wasn’t so a short time ago. Took me around three hours to clean it yesterday. I scrubbed walls, cleaned the toilet five times, sterilized Maddie’s potty a couple of times, etc.
Psh.
Your bathrooms have nothing on mine!
🙂
(That’s not to say that yuck was left for days at a time, mind you, but it still needed a thorough sterilizing. I broke out the bleach a bunch for that one – which I use only in emergencies. Which it was. shudder.)
Please give my apologies to all your Gentle Readers!

Oh, I’m so sorry you all have been going through that! We went through a couple of rounds of that in May. Man, is that miserable or what??
Every time someone shat or puked I had out the Lysol, windex and hand sanitizer. Probably the cleanest my house has been. Ever. Please accept my most heartfelt condolences for your ordeal.
I think you’re the only regular reader I have! And I’m glad to have you! It was feeling mighty lonely out here in cyberspace before you happened by.

Ah, well, we have each other!
