“Momma, what kinds of stuff can we do on rainy days?” Ryan asked. These kinds of things!
We built and painted cars.
Luigi Car.
You can ask your mom to draw a picture of your favorite action figure so you can color it.
We can go to the Natural Science Center and visit these guys:
Then of course, when in doubt…on rainy days you can always do this:
We needed the rain pretty badly but things got a little scary here when we were under a tornado warning for a while. All is well now and we had an action-packed day!

I’m so impressed with your day!
The cars are wonderful, as is your drawing!
Playing in the rain is always a fabulous pastime.

Thanks! It was a fun-filled day.

I just wanted to add in regard to my drawing that I can copy someone else’s work until the cows come home and it will look pretty good. What I haven’t been good at is creating something of my own. I WISH I could do that but it always looks so sophomoric when I attempt it.

When we went to Pinehurst 2 years ago, we met up with a fierce storm w/ tornado warnings happening…it was pretty intense! When your weather goes bad, it doesn’t mess around!
Love the painted car!
This will say ‘soapchix’, but it’s really me, ‘childsplay’. I have no idea what’s going on with my sign in name…but I can’t change it! ??? !

LOL You have secret identities all over the place! Something must be going on with blogger because the emails notifying me about comments suddenly look very different. Who knows?
You’re right though, the weather here can get out of control!
Stephanie says
ha! I’m with Evie about the secret id’s!
lol
Stephanie says
ONe other thing…
sophomoric, as opposed to elementary, as are mine! 🙂
whimsigal says
Pah! Yours are nowhere near elementary dear Watson. you are far too modest!
Stephanie says
Dear Friend –
While you are kind to say so…
no one here believes that!
I should post about that…. think I will….
