Things have been fairly uneventful around here lately. Nice, quiet, peaceful. Iain had a baseball game on Saturday and it went really well. He continues to enjoy it and we are in love with his adoration of the game. He has really taken to it and tells us about the rules, the plays, and the like. It’s wonderful to see him so animated about it!
Sean has been busy with work and school but we were able to spend some time together this weekend, which was awesome! Saturday night we watched “juno” with my sister and her hubby. Have you seen it yet? Oh. My. God. I loved it! It was a phenomenal movie, so well written, with very real, lovable characters. If you haven’t seen it yet, you should. It’s so sweet. My sister let the boys spend the night at her house on Saturday night which was also awesome. Sean and I didn’t do anything exciting but it was nice to be in the house by ourselves for a little bit. Everyone needs that from time to time. So on Sunday, I borrowed Makena in the afternoon and gave Beth and Kevin some alone time, too. Guess what Makena and I did? 😉
We went to my parents house and took pictures there. They have the cutest house and a great yard and it was a gorgeous backdrop for photos. Here are a few more:

So, what are your plans for Mother’s Day? Sean has said we’ll do whatever I want to do but the problem is, I don’t know what that is!!! LOL I would love to hear what you’re doing and maybe inspiration will strike!! The boys and I are making some gifts this week and I will post photos next week. Did you ask for anything special for Mother’s Day? I’d love to hear what you’re doing for your Mom, too!

Hopefully I’ll be having a baby! I know, I’ll only be 38 weeks…..
LOL I’m not sure you’ll suggest that for your holiday plans though, eh?
We usually make pancakes and then go for a family walk or boat trip out at the local lake. Just quiet.

LOL Yeah, I won’t be doing that ever again!
Sounds like a nice way to spend Mother’s Day to me, either having a baby or doing something quiet at home.
Mmmmmm. Pancakes. 🙂

Nicolas has volunteered to be in charge of the recycling (a passion of his) for a local concert. But I am getting to go shopping and to dinner with my sister. I am very excited. I loved Juno (just saw it too) and also just saw and loved “Dan in Real Life”. Your pictures are beautiful.

Shopping and dinner out sounds like something my sis and I would enjoy as a treat, too. “dan in Real life” is another movie I want to see! Now that you’ve recommended it I’m definitely going to watch it.
Glad you liked the pics! It was fun taking them.

Mother’s Day plans are still up in the air, but the Jane Austen movie marathon on PBS is seriously calling my name.
