We have been trying to get into a new routine around here and it hasn’t exactly been simple. Iain has been sick so that threw us off, we stayed up later than we should have then slept in later than we should have and THAT threw us off. It’s been kind of crazy trying to find a new rhythm and I can’t say we’re having an easy time of trying to hit it on the right beat. But I do have confidence that things will improve and we will find the flow that works best for us.
The boys have been exploring creative outlets lately and doing a lot of drawing. Ryan is particularly good at it and I sure do love seeing the characters he’s able to draw from memory. Iain has been on a video game streak again which has been fun. He asked if we could have one day a week where we move the Wii down into the family room and I agreed we could devote one day to that. From now on, Wednesdays in our house shall be known as Wii Wednesday and we do nothing but get our game on all day long. It’s actually a lot of fun because I enjoy the games as much as they do. LOL
If you head over to my food blog, The Incredible Shrinking Whimsigal, you can read all about the other plan we’ve put in place this week. So far, it has gone pretty well and I’m excited about it. Ryan is struggling with it a little but I can’t say I’m surprised by that.
Hmmmm, what else? Well. I am finalizing the prints that are going to go in my etsy shop and this week, you will be able to see the wares that I am offering. I think the prices are very reasonable and hope that you guys know some folks who would like some artwork to hang up in their home!
This week, my goal is to get out and use my camera because I really haven’t done that seriously for a couple of weeks. I’ve taken pictures of what I’ve been eating to chronicle at my other site but I want to get out and take some interesting photos of the world around us, too. It’s been a while since I’ve taken any pics like that and I find that I’m really missing it.
Hope all is well with you!

Oh Evie,
I am sorry you are having trouble getting Twitter onto your site.
My blogger template is old so I can use one of the cute boxes and had to use the cut and paste method.
So sad.

Thanks for your kind sympathy! It is just so annoying. Since I switched over from Blogger to WordPress I have no idea how to do anything. Blogger was much easier for me. I’d switch back but I think the few readers I have would revolt. LOL
Today I just lack the energy required to find out if it’s even do-able!
