Well, we’ve had a good number of folks sign up for the 1st Annual Road Less Traveled Science Fair and we couldn’t be more excited! Iain is trying to narrow down his project from a few different ideas but we’ll definitely have chosen something by this weekend.

I had something else I was going to post but in between squirrel-killing dogs and maniac kids running around I lost my train of thought. Now, if you’ll excuse me I have to go clean the dead squirrel off the patio before my dogs go crazy over it. If I remember what I was going to post, I’ll come back and edit this later!
Jonathan’s considering it… he’s pondering, “Hmm… that’s a toughie.” He’s actually working on a very elaborate football project right now but I’m not sure he wants the pressure of having it *done*. Can we just post what he’s got done by 4/19? I actually think he doesn’t want it to finished because he’s enjoying it so much!
Cool idea, Iain!!! I’ve been encouraging Jonathan to have his own blog – maybe this will interest him.
We’ll put you guys down as a maybe, how about that?

Well, I’m all new to your blog, but a Science Fair sounds like fun. Do I need to know right away what our project is going to be? I just have no clue at the moment, but could sit down in the next couple of days with my daughter and see what she’d like to do.
You’re more than welcome to join us! Iain is still trying to decide on a project, too. It’s not a competition so whatever you decide to do is cool with us!

Joan, we had ANOTHER dead squirrel this morning plus we had a live mouse caught in a glue trap yesterday. It’s been a gruesome few days around here. Hey, maybe that could be our project….hmmmm maybe not!
