Evie – Out!

Uncategorized

That was a very poor play on Ryan Seacrest’s “Seacrest Out!” when he signs off from American Idol. Just in case you didn’t get it. Which you probably didn’t because it was such a bad, bad reference. LOL

I’m going to be incommunicato for a couple of days as I head out to the hospital at 5:45am. Ugh. I hate getting up early. It will be good to have this all over and done with so I can get back to my normal routine.

I know I’ve been absent a lot here lately but please don’t forget about me while I’m gone! LOL Hopefully posting will be back to normal pretty quickly. What else am I going to do while I’m laying around recovering?!

Please have a wonderful next few days and I will “see” you very soon.

XXOO

Evie

Here is my favorite photo from our Disney trip. Sean took it, I just tweaked it a bit in Photoshop:

I look forward to your posts from delirium!
Probably you’ll have to come back post painpills and say “what the hell?” [giggle]
I’m sorry you’re feeling nervous about the going under bit – if I could help, I certainly would.
and I’d gladly get out of my messy house to come and work on yours!
It will all be over and done with (successfully!) very soon, and we’ll see you relieved and happy on the other side.
    Hang in there, sweeting.
    All my love,
    Steph

I’ll probably confess my deepest, darkest secret while I’m doped up. It will be entertaining at least!

Thanks for your words and warm thoughts, Steph. I look forward to getting back to things asap.

    Thank you again!!!

    love,

I hope (actually I know) everything will go well for you.
I look forward to hearing from you and seeing your photos soon. take care.
I’ve had numerous surgeries. The worse was when my doctor was really good looking. I think that’s why I like Grey’s Anatomy!

Good luck with your surgery! I had my gallbladder out shortly after Rhys’s birth (about 4 years ago) and felt like I’d been hit by a mack truck. I don’t know how your surgery will be performed, but mine was “only” laproscopic and it just really sucked. So, take your time healing, catch up on your reading, and forget blogging. We’ll still be here when you get back. 🙂

Oh, and we took the boys to Disney (CA) almost 2 years ago and had the time of our lives. Pirates was shut down for renovation though. Argh.

Joan, LOL My doctor is attractive for a doctor-dude. He’s not too nerdy or anything. But he’s no McSteamy either. Thanks goodness, I would be REALLY self-conscious!

Gina, I’m feeling good about things right now and have every intention of doing exactly what you said – take it easy!!

Argh – LOL Now that was funny! I know Disney has to renovate things to keep them current but I sure hate when it happens on our trip! I know you probably felt that way about Pirates when you were there.

Thanks to both you and Joan and I will be talking to you all soon I hope!

Take it easy. Sending as many positive, happy healing vibes as I can. It’s hard being a sick mama. Let those boys of yours spoil you for a while. Take care-K
