Our House at 9PM

parenting· unschooling

Thought it might be interesting to illustrate what goes on in our house sometimes. Here’s what was going on last night:

Sean began teaching Iain how to play chess.

Ryan was playing around on his computer, doing searches on Google:

When you give a kid a pair of scissors…

I asked what happened to Patrick and Ryan told me that he lost some weight. Hmmm. Lipo with a pair of safety scissors??? lol

Give a kid a Dymo Labelmaker…

Ryan got a hold of my labelmaker and now these little beauties are all over the walls! I can’t get mad! The kid is spelling for fun, who could get mad at that?

As all unschoolers are aware, learning starts when you wake up in the morning and doesn’t stop until you go to bed at night. We live and we learn without any regimented schedules. We love our life.

I guess Patrick needed a tummy tuck. ROFL. I love the mega man label. Here we have pictures of superheros everywhere. The Superhero sounds like an addict asking for “just one more piece of paper”. 🙂 Looks like a good day to me.

    Steph,

Thanks! Thought it would be fun to show people what we do!

    Sheri,

LOL, I could use a tummy tuck myself but that one looked PAINFUL.

    Thanks for y’alls comments!
