In the car after visiting Game Stop, Iain’s favorite video game store:
Iain: Momma, If I had brought my money from home I could have bought that Wii game that I wanted right? “Cause I had $55 at home and $20 with me at the store. Then I would have had $75. That would have been enough. Then, if I got the Wii game I would have had $25 left since the game was $50, right?
Me: Mm-hmmm. That’s right, Iain.
Ryan: Yeah! And 2+2=3!!!
Iain: No Ryan, 2+2=4. See? 2 of these (holding up two fingers) plus 2 of these equals what?
Ryan:……..four!!
Iain: Right! Now, 2 of these plus 1 of these equals what?
Ryan: Three!!
Iain: Right! And 1 of these plus one of these equals what?
Ryan: Two!
