What we did in Charlottesville

life

I thought we were going to get out and go on an adventure but you know what? It rained. No, wait. It poured! Not only that, but the boys wouldn’t get up early enough to drop Sean off at work so we didn’t have a car to get around in. One of Laura’s blog readers, Silvia, was incredibly kind and offered to meet us somewhere but guess what? I didn’t get her email to that effect until NOON. Jiminy Christmas. We had already trekked to Toys R Us in the rain and come back with Scooby Doo toys and coloring books. Well, since the boys had come back with activities to keep them occupied in the hotel room, I told them that I also needed something to do so I proceeded to torture them and take a gazillion photos. Here’s our trip to Charlottesville in pictures and, please try to ignore the fact that they are all in the hotel room, ok? Thank you very much!

This is what you get when your kids have had enough of your stinking photo-taking!

Doesn’t it look like fun? LOL

The trees were really beautiful though and we all desperately need this rain so I’m not going to complain about it. We’ll go back!

Oh, and I love Ryan’s “Full-on Blue Steel” in the 4th picture. He looks so pensive.

Wait, wait, WAIT. You almost got to meet Silvia? That is, like, so not fair!

Actually, I’m kidding – and how cool! Did you find her through my blog? That’s even more cool! And do you live close to each other? Cuz that would be ALL the way cool!
