Because that’s how I roll…

I’m doing a contest anyway. Because it would make me happier to give the money away than to keep it for myself! And, at great risk of being called a copycat and a hack, I’m doing a “name that photo” contest like the Pioneer Woman. Of course, the photo I’ve chosen is nothing like the ones that she puts on her websites but it is one of my favorites. A little background on the photo for you…In September, we attended an alumni rugby tournament at one of the universities here in town because when in college, Sean played on the team. Every year they hold an event for the alumni and we’ve never been able to go until this year. Frankly I wasn’t that excited about it. I adore football but I don’t know diddly about rugby, but I wanted to be a trooper since it was important to Sean. I figured I could get some practice using my camera anyway. Well, it ended up being fun! I took over 300 photos and some of them were pretty cool but there were a few that perhaps I shouldn’t have snapped…but I’m a bad girl and just couldn’t help myself. One of those is what I’m offering for your naming pleasure, behold!

I was snapping a shot of something else when from behind me, some cute little college girl started screaming, “I’m blind!” Upon hearing the distress in her voice, I turned and was immediately greeted by many older men with their shirts off and felt compelled to record their images for um, posterity. As evidence of how bad I am, I can’t help but giggle when I notice how the shorts bunch up….hoo! It gets me every time. The funny thing is, I actually knew this dude, although I didn’t recognize him at the time. So, please, take a shot at naming this photo. The prize I’m offering is not as substantial as PW’s and the photo’s not as grand but I’d love to hear what you come up with! $25 on a gift certificate to your favorite store….any takers?? OR if you’re feeling charitable as well, the money can be donated in your name to your favorite charity this holiday season.
