So I’m getting ready to make my first $25 from the ads on the left side of the page there and, in the spirit of one of my blog mentors (she doesn’t know me from mud) Pioneer Woman, I feel like I should give that back to the folks who made the $25 possible. You, the readers of this oh so humble blog. I’d like to hold a contest and am looking for suggestions since you all are the folks who would benefit from such a thing. How would you like your $25? In a gift card to your favorite store? What do you think would be fun to try and win it?
Please leave me some suggestions, friends! I have a couple of ideas myself but I thought I would ask you first.

I wrote about 8,000 words on my first project, got tired of it, and then wrote 6,000 on another one I am still working on. But I have been so busy I haven’t been able to write like I want to. Here’s to lazy winter weekends of writing!

I think a gift cert. would be a good idea, as well.

I like the ‘name this photo’ idea. You have many lovely pictures to choose from, I am sure.
The gift certificate idea is good. Maybe for something like Amazon where people can get a variety of stuff.

I think you should treat yourself to something special that you wouldn’t ordinarily do for yourself….but if you insist on giving it away, a gift cert. is always good, and easy to mail. But I still think you should treat yourself!!!
