Today is my birthday

When I woke up this morning I forgot it was my birthday! LOL That said, today has been a great birthday so far. Sean took the day off from work so we were able to sleep in a little late this morning. That was nice! Then, Sean and the boys woke up and presented me with my gifts. Ryan got me a new camera bag, Iain got me a monopod, and Sean got me a 500GB external hard drive for storing all my photos. I was really excited and have already moved all my pics to the external drive. Would you believe that since July I’ve taken 50GB worth of photos?? Crazy!

I experimented with the monopod this morning and took some shots of the arts and crafts that the kids and I worked on this morning. Ryan was complaining of being bored so I suggested we create some Halloween pictures. Here is what the table looked like when we were done:

We had a lot of fun doing this today. Now Iain is playing his DS and Ryan is playing with a lego person, both of my children are close by, and I can’t imagine a better way to spend my birthday. Tomorrow night my parents offered to have the boys over for a sleepover so Sean and I cold spend some time alone together. That is a very nice gift as well and we both greatly appreciate it.
